About Tina Marshall-Kelliher
Tina Marshall-Kelliher recognizes that clients can be overwhelmed by the process of separation and divorce and feel vulnerable when making difficult decisions at a very emotional time. She skillfully and sympathetically helps clients look beyond their feelings to make choices for the long term, especially when young children are involved who will be affected for many years to come.
Combining years of legal expertise in family law with her perspective as a mother, Tina takes the time to get to know her clients and understand their family situation. She listens carefully to their objectives, and guides her clients to informed choices that place the interests of the family first.
In keeping with the firm's emphasis on non-adversarial approaches to divorce, Tina assists families who do not want their divorce to have destructive consequences for their family. Tina encourages clients to focus on the future and consider the impact of their decisions, not just in the here-and-now, but in the coming years. Tina's personal compassion and legal knowledge give clients a sense of security to help them successfully move forward with their lives.
Whilst her experience includes all facets of family law, both in and out of court, an area of strength for Tina is helping clients to settle financial matters, including the division of money, housing, pensions and maintenance. She also advises on pre and post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements to ensure that assets in sole ownership are protected.
A graduate of the University of Surrey, Tina received her law degree from the College of Law, London. Beginning her practice in family law in 2006, she joined Sharp Family Law in 2012. Tina is a member of Resolution, Wessex Business Women's Network, Bath Business Women's Association Away from her practice, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, running, and participating in yoga.
