Our response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak

At Sharp Family Law, we feel a great responsibility for the role we play in the lives of our clients – even more so when we are all being more cautious about how we engage with each other during the developing Coronavirus outbreak.

We are constantly evaluating our daily routines as the global and national response to the virus changes. But our commitment to handling your instructions does not waver. We are doing everything we can to ensure we provide a full service to all our clients and continue to be available whenever you need us.

We are prepared for an escalating set of potential responses to maintain ‘social distancing’ whilst continuing to deliver services to you. This may include:

• Minimising face-to-face contact with you and others – Instead, we can be contacted on our mobile phones (07798606740) and of course by email. We can also utilise electronic alternatives such as Skype / Facetime / Zoom
• Working remotely – Our systems enable us all to work safely and securely ‘from home’ should that be necessary. We have secure electronic access to all our files, forms and the documents we need to undertake our work for you
• Operations functions – Our accounts and administration functions can all be accessed remotely. We have secure electronic access to your account with us and can make and receive payments to and from you.
• Cover for unwell staff – Our lawyers can support each other and step in when necessary with secure electronic access available by them to all matters on your file

As the situation in Bath and Bristol develops, we shall continue to inform you of our current operating status and the actions we are taking to maintain all services during the outbreak.  We will continue to follow official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully.
